In 2011 appeared in Colombia collective actions by student organizations that shook the dynamics of unconventional political participation. This article analyzes through three key moments how the student mobilization seized the political opportunity structure to propose new organizational forms and innovative action repertories which shows changing trends in the way the protest is exercised.
