Preface to the Special Issue: Political Theory and Methodologies From Latin America

Abstract

This issue of the Andean Journal of Political Studies discusses both approaches

theoretical as useful methodological strategies for empirical testing. It is valuable that said

interaction between theory and method are in the same volume because it accounts for the discussion

increasingly interesting that it is taking place in the different disciplines of science

Social. In this regard, I think that the joint review of this volume can contribute to the reader

with a series of inputs that clarify the role they play in the design of a social investigation of

quality both theoretical constructs and methodological strategies.
