Abstract

The article makes an analytical approach to the political, regulatory, and social approaches of the called migratory crises of 2015 and 2018 in Europe, and in Latin American Central and South, emphasizing the instruments for their treatment and containment. In the case of Europe, it is specified in the European Agenda on Migration (WEA) and in the first Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration. For Latin America, in the Alliance for Prosperity in the Northern Triangle Plan (APTN) and the Quito Process. Finally, by way of reflection, an outline is presented to understand the intricate relationship between migration and the health crisis in times of the covid-19 pandemic.
