During the last three decades, political science in the Ibero-American space has experienced sustained growth. This can be seen from different indicators such as: 1) the creation of undergraduate and graduate courses; 2) the increase in periodic scientific publications and their quality standards; 3) the organization of different associations at the national and regional level; 4) the publication of numerous author's books and compilations; 5) the holding of events and conferences, both national, regional and international; and 6) the construction of increasingly dense networks of joint work and activities.

This allows us to reflect and build knowledge about the disciplinary history itself, something that has been developing both in research and in the networking of specific groups such as the History of Political Science in Latin America of the Latin American Association of Political Science ( ALACIP). On the other hand, the different national associations have established spaces in their congresses to give rise to special presentations and presentations on the subject.

This Call aims to present original works linked to the history, development and teaching of political science from different axes. Among them we can mention: 1) general history of political science in each country; 2) history of a specific area, both nationally and comparatively (Example: political institutions and government, administration and public policies, political communication and public opinion, international relations, political theory, gender and politics, among others); 3) biographical and bibliometric studies; 4) Development of teaching and research institutions and academic-professional associations.

The Editorial Team of the Andean Journal of Political Studies (RAEP) extends its invitation to the academic community in general to present original works (in Spanish, English or Portuguese) framed in the social sciences, whose results improve the interpretation of reality. Latin American socio-politics and particularly of the Andean countries. Articles with different topics may be received, but they will be located outside the Dossier, as well as reviews of Books published in the last two (02) years.

The articles received will go through the editorial process specified in the About the Journal section, guaranteeing the anonymity of authors and reviewers involved in the blind peer review.
