The RAEP (ISSN: 2221-4135) is indexed in the Emerging Source Citation Index (Thomson Reuters), Latindex Catalog, International Bibliography of Social Science (IBSS), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and ProQuest. Created in 2011, the RAEP has contributed to criticism and discussion in the social sciences of the Andean region from the publication of articles prepared from various theoretical approaches, disciplines, methodologies, methods and academic communities. Like most indexed journals, the editorial process applies blind peer-review as it improves the decisions of the Editorial Committee regarding the publication of the texts received. The external review of the articles is frequently entrusted to the members of the Advisory Committee, who issue the respective opinions. <p>The Editorial Committee of the Revista Andina de Estudios Políticos (RAEP) extends an invitation to the academic community to submit original social science-based manuscripts (in Spanish, English, or Portuguese), which findings may advance the understanding of Latin American socio-political contexts -particularly in Andean countries.</p> <p>Manuscripts will undergo an editorial process specified in the <a title="About the Journal Section" href="https://iepa.org.pe/raep/index.php/ojs/about" target="_blank" rel="noopener">About the Journal Section</a> upon receipt. The process guarantees the anonymity of authors and referees involved in the blind peer review. Only article proposals entered via the <a title="Submit" href="https://iepa.org.pe/raep/index.php/ojs/about/submissions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Submit</a> button, and in compliance with the <a title="Editorial Norms" href="http://www.iepa.org.pe/revista/normas-editoriales-de-la-raep/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Editorial Norms</a> of the Instituto de Estudios Políticos Andinos will be considered for editorial evaluation.</p>
